Lil the Lion.
I was tasked with creating a character design, aimed at Little Hearts Matter's Youth Zone demographic. The character had to convey a message of scars empowerment, strength and bravery, especially when open-heart surgery can make young people self-conscious about their bodies.
So I designed Lil the Lion. They're a teddy bear lion toy, who's very proud of all of their stitches (scars).
From this, I designed a poster to promote this message further and establish my character design in the LHM branding.
